On Sunday, April 12, the Business Education students arrived at UCLA for the annual Project ECHO Competition. This is a business competition where students present "shark tank style" in an attempt to receive funding for their business concept. The senior Capstone class wrote a 50- page business plan including an in depth account of the business operations, industry research/analysis, financials, and marketing plan. Then, presented the concept on stage at UCLA to potential investors. For the seventh year in a row, Charter Oak was honored and awarded 1st Place and a $1,000 check to continue their business operations and increase the scope an scale for next year. A job well done!
