Mr. Parslow's Graphic Arts & Design classes recently got to minimize their Photoshop programs and get a taste of something they'll be experiencing next year in Year Two of the Business Academy:  coding!  The Hour of Code is a global movement to reach tens of millions of students in over 180 countries!  The goal is to introduce computer science as a option for students to study past the halls of high school and that includes creation programs and testing those programs to make sure they work.  For the second straight year, Mr. Parslow's students spent their entire period creating code for a variety of programs on the Hour of Code website including Code Combat, creating a Flappy Game, and Coding with Anna and Elsa.  The only requirement students had this period was to play around with various coding tutorials and get a sense if it is something they like or not.  The Hour of Code gives a taste of how much coding students will experience next year in both Mobile Apps Design AND Video Gaming Design.
